It seems like every year manufacturers are outdoing themselves in an attempt to make infant products that are not only useful but also stylish and trendy. It's no surprise that with today's popular "going green" movement that one new trend is marketing baby products that use all natural materials and products. There are many organic and all natural items out there that are new for infants. You can find anything from bedding to skin care products to toys. Here we will preview just a few of those.
Bedding
Organic cotton is the way to go these days. A new mom can find an array of baby items made from 100% organic cotton. Organic cotton is made from cotton plants that have not be treated with pesticides. This makes it low impact on the environment and ensures new moms that one less chemical is making contact with baby's skin. Some of the organic cotton bedding items that are new for infants in recent years include blankets, towels, crib sheets and changing table covers. Serta is even marketing an anti-bacterial mattress made with organic cotton layers and vinyl that is free of phthalates.

Some of the most widely used natural products for infants are skin care items. There are a wide range of choices that include shampoos, locations, soaps, sunscreens and diaper rash creams. One product that is new for infants is an organic calming spray. It is produced by Nature's Baby Organics and has a soothing lavender smell that uses aromatherapy to calm and relax baby. Mom simply sprays it on the infant's bedding or favorite blanket.
Food
Organic baby food production has increased greatly over the past five years. You can find organic infant food right on the grocers' shelf. Before it was only found in health and specialty stores. Many parents today are even making their own organic baby food by pureeing fresh organic fruits and veggies at home. For infants, wooden rattles and teething rings can be found as well as wooden clench toys with bright fabrics that stimulate baby.
